At the end of my studies in France in 2004, I decided to find and provide ethical and ecological solutions to the consumers.
That is when I launched the ecosac project. The goal of this project is to replace disposable bags available in every shop with a reusable, 100% Fairtrade certified cotton bag. Intrigued by the approach, the first businesses adopted the ecosac either as an alternative to disposable bags and/or as support to raise awarness about eco-friendly behavior. Thus the Foundation Nicolas Hulot and ADEME chose the ecosac to promote the "Défi pour la Terre". By the way, if you haven't signed the challenge, I invite you to check out their webpage here. Since then, many businesses have chosen the ecosac® (see some references here).
In 2007, back in my home country of Switzerland, I was surprised to find that the ethical and ecological solutions provided for the desire and needs of the consumers, but were not readily available for the potential demand. I was all the more surprised since many exemplary initiatives had emerged in France, England and other European countries in the past few years. Their initiators invite us to see the world differently and prove that it is possible to produce and provide goods and services that are respectful of Man and Nature.
Today I offered these brands to promote and distribute them in order to make them available to a maximum of consumers in Switzerland. I am introducing these products under the name "Peak Solutions". "Peak Solutions" means selected products that have the highest environmental and social commitment in their field. The name also refers to the Swiss mountains and the richness of the helvetic heritage which we must preserve.
I invite you to discover and try this solution...and help us make them available for every consumer...
